A Story Born in Brooklyn, Sewn with Love<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our journey began on the vibrant streets of Brooklyn, New York. At a local market, Aya found a burst of color and inspiration in beautiful African fabrics. Their vibrant patterns sparked a creative journey that continues to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with a friend in 2015, Aya started collecting these unique fabrics and sharing them with the world through online sales. But her passion soon bloomed into something more. Inspired by the fabrics themselves, Aya began crafting one-of-a-kind bags and pouches. Her creations resonated with tastemakers, leading to showcases at trendsetting tradeshows in both New York and Tokyo, Japan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, AYA is based in Los Angeles. We remain deeply committed to the art of handcraft, pouring love and creativity into every fun and functional item we produce.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

DESIGNER PROFILE
Aya<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following her graduation from Parsons School of Design with a focus in Communication Design, Aya embarked on a career path in Graphic Design. This journey led her to a renowned New York fashion label and a senior graphic designer position at a trend forecasting company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While exploring her old neighborhood in Brooklyn, Aya discovered the vibrant world of African fabrics. Their bold colors and captivating patterns ignited a passion for creating unique pieces, and she began crafting beautiful accessories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her handcrafted African-inspired accessories have garnered recognition in prestigious publications like Japan’s Nikkei Marketing Journal (2017) and Senken Fashion Newspaper (2019).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
